Belotero's Cohesive Polydensified Matrix (CPM) technology creates a filler with a unique multi-layered structure. This allows Belotero to adapt to the specific characteristics of the tissue where it's injected — integrating into the skin rather than sitting beneath it as a separate bolus.
This integration property makes Belotero particularly valuable for treating areas where other fillers might create visible lumps or the Tyndall effect — a bluish discoloration that can occur when HA fillers are placed too superficially in areas with thin skin, such as under the eyes.
